For either an experienced investor or a new investor just starting with trading, who is looking for a unique way to enhance or broaden their portfolio, you have to check into what an ETF investment can do for you. ETFs (Exchange Traded Funds) can be bought and sold just like stocks on the stock exchange. So they can be bought at a brokerage firm. The difference with ETFs to stocks however is that instead of investing in one company you get diversity.

An ETF trading system is a set of rules for buying and selling ETFs. The idea of a trading system is that it helps to take the emotion out of buying and selling ETFs. If you follow the rules of the system and don’t deviate from them, you should be able to make money, even with market downturns.

Many systems pose a risk that is between a medium/low and a medium risk. The main factor with an ETF trading system is your ability to stick to it. It may sound easy, but when emotions kick in it’s easy to forget the system and panic sell.

One of the best ways of removing the problem of emotions dictating your investing is to pick a system that helps remove the problem for you. For example the ETF Trend Trading System only operates after the market has closed. You spend around 10 minutes in the evening (or before the market opens in the morning) checking to see if there are any trades to be made. By only trading after the market has closed you have instantly removed a huge amount of the emotional side of trading, as you are not watching trades go up or down.

If you are going to add ETFs to your portfolio you really need to have some sort of ETF trading system. The system I mentioned earlier (ETF Trend Trading System) is definitely recommended. In fact it includes a whole section on trading psychology to help overcome emotion while trading. For more information of this system click the link below. It will take you to a page where you can enter your email to receive more information about the system.  Even if your not interested in the system the emails are very good at giving you more information about ETF trading.
